Ibiza

Short mornings run from Palma lay the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. Although a magnet for night clubbers and summer holiday makers Ibiza has much more to offer with its extensive cruising grounds. Scenic anchorages are aplenty and the main ports of Puerto De Ibiza and San Antonio offer all the main marina facilities.

There are countless small anchorages around the coast which, with the exception of some stretches of low sandy beaches at the southern end, is very rugged and broken. Rocky cliffs are interspersed with numerous calas many with small sandy beaches at their heads. Calas Badella, Portinatx, and llonga are just a few.

Formentera lies to the south of Ibiza and enjoys a much slower pace of life. With pleasant anchorages at Espalmador and Ensenda, winding down from the rigours of the main island is easy
